You end up getting fed up of the salad bowl, because you are not bothering to eat anything else. In an effort to become as thin as a reed, you forget that what you really need is a balanced diet, which consists of not just salads, but a lot of other kinds of foods like proteins, carbohydrates and a little bit of fat as well.

So what is the answer to all this? If you want to be the cool babe or the cool dude, make sure that you look like one in more ways than one. You not only have to maintain the right attitude, but you also have to make sure that you have the right kind of food so that you can continue to look and feel good for a long time. One also needs to understand that this is the key to growing old gracefully. This is a strong message to those who want to look sixteen when they are over forty. This is not possible by any flight of imagination and the sooner one comes to terms with this the better. So take a cue and get things going. Instead of going on crash diets, eat sensibly and exercise as much as you can.
