Stretching: The Success Of Healthy Workout
Most of us often begin a workout program for health and fitness, but most of the times, we may leave in between. The reasons in 80% cases is injury, fatigue or body pains, which may result from undue pushing of our body without proper stretching.
It is always recommended to stretch before and after workout to increase muscle flexibility. It also prepares your body and muscles to take a little pain that is natural after a sedentary or no-exercise lifestyle. Health centers and fitness experts recommend beginning stretching the major muscle and joints of the body first and then focus on individual muscles or areas.
The most common style of stretching are Ballistic stretching, static stretching and contract-relax stretching. No matter, whichever process you may want to adopt for stretching, do not cross beyond your pain reflex. In fact, women are more flexible than males and can stretch to the most, which men are unable to do.
With age, your flexibility decreases, so it may take time to adopt the fitness routine and pain threshold. Keep up your patience and follow strictly the exercise pattern recommended by coach or fitness experts. Also, remember that every individual has his or her own threshold, so just follow your own limitations and body indications. Never cross the line or it may lead to fatal injury.
