We all take shower daily, sometimes 2-3 times in a day, depending upon weather and sometimes for leisure, but not many times we have ever considered that excess washing can decrease skin suppleness. Skin bathing, using chemicals soap, loofah and sometimes wiping skin harshly during dry off can damage the skin.

Air drying is an ideal way to dry the skin following a shower, or if required due to lack of time then sponging is the ideal way to evaporate the excess bathwater of the body. Using a soft towel in soft patting motion can absorb excess water from the body. Ideally showering removes excess sebum, and dirt from the body, but some sensitive skin cannot even afford the skin dryness from plain water. Such persons should skin shower frequently and avoid using hot water, loofah and must follow with a moisturizer application after each shower. Simply maintain a balance of ph for your skin with simple precautions and applications.
